Description

BLUETTI 15A AC Charging Cable For AC200L

The AC200L’s factory charging cable is the most-lost accessory in the whole BLUETTI ecosystem. It goes in a bag for a road trip, gets left at a rental cabin, disappears into a van conversion project and suddenly your $1,500 power station is stuck at whatever charge it had when you noticed.

This is the genuine BLUETTI replacement cable matched to the AC200L specifically. Same voltage rating, same current handling, same 3-pin aviation connector on the BLUETTI side as the cable that shipped with your unit. No spec mismatch, no risk to your warranty, no compromise on charging performance.

Also useful as a second-location cable leave one at home, one in the van, one at the workshop. Costs less than the freight fee to ship the missing cable across the country when you realise you left it behind.

The NEMA 5-20P plug what it fits

The NEMA 5-20P plug has a distinctive T-slot blade configuration one blade is horizontal, the other vertical. It’s designed for 20 A dedicated outlets (NEMA 5-20R), which you’ll find in:

  • Kitchen appliance circuits (dedicated fridge or microwave outlets)
  • Some workshop and garage outlets
  • Modern building electrical panels where 20 A circuits are standard
  • Some commercial buildings and offices

Important: The 5-20P plug’s horizontal blade won’t fit into a standard household outlet (NEMA 5-15R, the everyday two-vertical-slot outlet you see everywhere). If your only available outlets are standard 5-15R, this cable won’t plug in. Verify your wall outlet type before ordering.

At 15 A charging, the cable delivers approximately 1,440 W of input power to the AC200L in default charge mode enough to fully recharge the 2,048 Wh battery in roughly 1.5-2 hours from empty.

Compatible power stations

Confirmed compatible:

  • BLUETTI AC200L (2,048 Wh portable power station, 2,400 W AC output)

Not compatible:

  • BLUETTI AC200 / AC200P / AC200Max — different aviation connector, use their own cables
  • BLUETTI AC300 / AC500 — different platforms, use 30 A or 50 A cables
  • BLUETTI AC240 / AC240P — different aviation connector, use L14-30 or TT-30 cables
  • BLUETTI AC180 / AC60 / AC70 — smaller units, different input specifications
  • BLUETTI Apex 300 / EP500 Pro / EP800 / EP900 — different platforms entirely

Cross-platform use isn’t supported — the aviation connectors on BLUETTI’s various power stations differ between generations and product lines.

Standard vs turbo charging on the AC200L

The AC200L supports two AC charging speeds. This 15 A cable delivers standard charging; a separate 20 A cable enables turbo mode for faster recharging:

Charging Mode
Cable
Wall Outlet
Input Power
Full Charge Time

Standard (this cable) 15A / NEMA 5-20P 5-20R (20A T-slot) ~1,440 W (12 A) ~1.5–2 hours
Fast / Turbo Mode 20A / NEMA 5-20P 5-20R (20A T-slot) ~2,400 W (20 A) ~45–60 minutes

If your workflow depends on getting the AC200L to 100% as quickly as possible, the 20 A cable is a genuinely useful upgrade it cuts charge time roughly in half. For everyday use where you charge overnight or during breaks, the standard 15 A cable is fine.

Turbo Charging must be enabled via the BLUETTI app; the AC200L doesn’t automatically switch modes when it detects a higher-current cable.

When to buy this cable

The three genuine use cases:

  • Your original cable is lost or damaged — the most common reason. Order the exact same spec to keep charging your AC200L at factory-supported speed.
  • You want a second charging location — one cable at home, one in your van, workshop, or holiday home. Leave both plugged in; grab the AC200L and go.
  • You want a spare in case of failure — cables get bent, kinked, or damaged over years of use. A spare tucked in your gear bag prevents downtime.

If you’re upgrading for faster charging, buy the BLUETTI 20 A AC Charging Cable instead — that’s the fast-charge upgrade path for the AC200L, not this cable.

Where this cable sits in BLUETTI’s AC200L accessory ecosystem

The AC200L supports multiple charging inputs, each with its own cable:

Cable
Power Source
Input Power

15A AC Charging Cable (this SKU) NEMA 5-20P outlet (standard mode) ~1,440 W
20A AC Charging Cable NEMA 5-20P outlet (turbo mode) ~2,400 W
12V Car Charging Cable Car cigarette lighter ~90–140 W
Solar Charging Cable (XT90 to MC4) Solar panel array (up to 700W solar input) Up to ~1,200 W

Own the cables that match how you actually charge. If you’re a mixed-use owner (grid + solar + car), assemble the whole set once and never worry about it again.

Care and maintenance

  • Coil loosely for storage — tight coils damage internal conductors over time
  • Keep away from water — this is an AC-mains cable, not rated for wet environments
  • Don’t force the aviation connector — the pins are keyed; align them properly before pushing in
  • Inspect for damage before each use — check for kinks, exposed wires, or damaged pins
  • Replace immediately if damaged — don’t attempt repairs on AC mains cable
